She loves beautiful things, and it shows: the cottage's antique furniture, the garden's sculpted stone waterfall, and a high tea laid in bone china are all her doing. She believes in simple rituals done properly — a cup of tea poured well is, to her, a kind of elegance.

A garden built around water and light.
Scarlet had the garden's sculptured stone waterfall and lily pond built by hand — a quiet, tropical escape at the heart of the cottage. By day, it's lush and green, surrounded by banana palms and ferns. By evening, the waterfall glows, the pond lights up, and the garden becomes your private high tea terrace. Scarlet can often be found at the tea house garden bar, serving tea in bone china at Scarlet's Cottage, Fort Kochi.
